Jeu du Carré

The Jeu du Carré is an interesting puzzle from the Jeux Nouveaux Reunis box of puzzles.   It appears that the pieces are made by dissecting a square from one corner to the midpoint of an opposite side, giving two types of pieces (like at bottom right in the picture below).  Five of the larger trapezoid pieces and three of the smaller triangular pieces need to be formed into a square to fit in the tray of the box.  You could easily make the pieces from graph paper.  Try solving this puzzle at home before reading further and finding yet a second challenge!
