Jeux Nouveaux Reunis box of puzzles
Dating from the early1900's, this French wooden box contains six puzzles in cardboard boxes with pieces made of wood, wire, and string. Wire puzzles include a pig from which an axe needs to be removed and the Egyptian Bracelet, a spring from which a ring must be removed. One must remove the string from the Heart and some wooden pieces must form a cross in yet another puzle. The Pions Jeux is probably a game for two rather than a puzzle, but I don't have the directions. If anyone has the directions, please write to me at waite@nemmelgebmurr.com and let me know! An interesting challenge is put forth concerning the Jeu du Carré puzzle on a separate page.
