Inside a piano are the wire strings.  In this case, a wire disentanglement puzzle is meant to represent the parallel strings of the piano, while the shuttle to be removed represents a hammer that normally strikes the strings.   Unfortunately the hammer has gotten stuck in the strings, so your job is to remove it!
