The Orange Box

Orange and white marble box with inner wood lining.
18 cm x 12 cm x 6 cm

The pattern on the lid (made of two pentagons and two triangles) is echoed 16 times in a 4 x 4 pattern to fit the box bottom.  Lighter and darker green "marbled" hobby clay for the pieces was chosen to contrast with the orange marble of the box.

The 12 pieces are basically each built of 3 larger light pentagons and 3 smaller dark triangles in various combinations.
