The Runestone Box

Unscrew this box and find the nine pieces inside, each engraved with a single Rune letter.  The pieces will form a symmetrical shape, but what is that shape?  Unfortunately, it is difficult to guess, but figuring out what the Runes on the pieces spell will give you an important clue.  The Runes on the brass box spell something totally different.  As with many of the stone monoliths of Scandinavia that this box is representative of, the text is put up to commemorate an ancestor of the Vikings that raised the stone.
